Bolongo Bay Beach Resort World's Best Beachfront Hotels

Bolongo Bay is a boutique Caribbean resort among its own 1,000-foot-long beach lined with palm trees and resident iguanas strolling by. Enjoy the beachfront pool, two seaside restaurants, and the admiring use of paddle boards, Hobie Cats, kayaks, aqua tricycles, snorkeling gear, and more.

At Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, we enjoy fresh food from a menu (not a buffet), beer out of a bottle, playing by day and partying at night. Beachfront rooms are about three feet from the edge of the white-sand beach, so you can enjoy a quick dip without having to bash into anyone on your way.

The resort also has one of the island's best-known nightspots: Iggies Beach Bar & Grill. Standard rooms for two people start at $160 per night, an ocean-view room with a second- or third-floor patio starts at $257, and the 24 beachfront rooms start at $287 per night. Prices are based on low season in September and October.  And, that’s what we have created  a US Virgin Islands resort that we’d want to visit. We’re the differing of large, impersonal hotels. There are no elevators, marble or chandeliers. Instead you’ll discover a true Caribbean beach resort, bounded by the tastes, sights and sounds of the island.

Bolongo Bay sits along a 1,000-foot golden sand beach with palm trees rustling in the breeze and iguanas slowly strolling by. Bolongo Bay Beach Resort offers 65 guestrooms in two- and three-story buildings (no elevators) arrayed along the beach and bordered by tall, dense tropical foliage. Balconies and ground-floor terraces furnish close-up views of Bolongo Bay. Rooms include ceiling fans, louvered doors/windows, and air conditioners. Kitchenettes with sinks, compact refrigerators, microwaves (on request), and table settings permit limited food preparation. Guests may book either an All-Inclusive plan or a Room-Only (No Meals) plan. The All-Inclusive plan includes meals, drinks, taxes, gratuities, and, with a minimum seven-night stay, a half day "Swim with Turtles" snorkel trip to Turtle Cove at Buck Island and a sunset cruise. The Room-Only (No Meals) plan does NOT include meals, drinks, gratuities, the sunset cruise or the Swim with Turtles snorkle trip.
